SPRING SOCCER

Maia and Isaac finished their last game of soccer last night. It's been great seeing them play. Trying to keep Anna from running out on the field was fun too. She wants to be like Maia and Isaac so bad.
It was Maia's first year playing and she really took to it. She made some great friends from different schools and learned some new skills. She can't wait until fall soccer.
What a difference a year made for Isaac. Last year he was sitting all the time and trying to pull down the goal post. This year he was into the game the whole time and made some great friends too.
I'm glad to see my kids out trying new things and having fun. It is good for kids to be a little competitive and learn when is the right place to do it.
It was a great season, but I am glad it is over for a while. Standing in the rain for half the games was not exactly what I had in mind. But the kids really had fun and that is worth it right?
