MAIA'S GRADUATION

Maia had her D.A.R.E. graduation today. The 5th grade participated in this program where Officer Adams came and taught the kids various lessons on the negative effects of substance abuse. Also the positive effects of having good friends and peers. He did it in a very cool way that got the kids motivated and excited to stay drug free and make good friends that help you make good choices in life. Maia was always so excited every Tuesday to go to school because it was D.A.R.E. day. What a great experience for all the kids. They invited all of the parents to this ceremony. Probably a little preview for H.S. graduation. Which will come sooner than I think.
