January Card :)

I'm in a card group and this is my card for the month of January. The theme was: "Sympathy Card" Some people did friend/valentine cards.

I had to post all the cards I collected. All so wonderful. I will have to post some more soon. I love them all so much.

Random pic from the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point. Makes me wonder. Would you hold a rock this large so long, that you would actually die and decompose in this position? Guess he (or she. I really can't tell) really wanted to kill that mammoth.

Spring Break '10

For Spring Break we decided to go to St. George to get away from the snow up north. It rained for the first day but then it was nice and in the 70s the rest of the time. The kids loved the hotel. Especially the pool and hot tub. I was glad they were both heated, because it was freezing outside.
Anna loved the hot tub.

Isaac needed a shave after a while.

We also went to Zion's national park. It was so beautiful. And busy. We even saw the Stites family while we were there. So much fun.

A park north of St. George. Just a bunch of rocks to climb. I think the kids liked it better than any regular park we went to.

A view of the city from the top. People were repelling off of this rock. It is about a 30 feet drop. You can see the ropes in the lower right hand corner of the picture. I guess next time we will have to do that too. It looked like a ton of fun.

Missionary Homecoming

My Nephew Jacob just returned home from the Taibei, Taiwan mission this last week.
This picture was taken at my sisters ward building after my nephew's missionary homecoming sacrament meeting. (Jacob is 5th from the right)
I still picture this little guy that I used to babysit. Not anymore. I'm sure I will be totally freaking out when it is my own children serving a mission.

Jolley's Ranch

Last week we went sledding up Jolley's Ranch after the kids got out of school. I love it up there. they have a really nice hill that is groomed and perfect for little kids to go down.

Maia and Anna had a blast. I don't know why I didn't get a picture of Isaac. I guess he was too busy. Anna loved the fire in the pavilion. We tried to dry Isaac's socks and browned them by the fire. The kids laughed that they looked like toasted marshmallows. All we needed were graham crackers and chocolate.
