SCOUTS HERE WE COME!
This year the primary decided to invite all the boys turning 8 in 2009 to the annual Blue and Gold Banquet for cub scouts. It was a chinese new year theme and they had an instructor come and teach the kids karate. Isaac is 3 from the left in this picture practicing a move on a friend that will be turning 8 this year as well.
I love the scouting program. I think it gets the boys involved in something constructive. It helps to build confidence and charity toward others. The boys can feel an accomplishment in what they have done and it truly helps with the rest of their life. Troy has spent quite a bit of time in the souting program and he is so excited to be able to share this experience with Isaac and have some fun as well.
I thought it was such a great night. Bradley had a ton of fun, too!
